Pauline Munro MCSP

Pauline is the practice proprietor and has over 30 years’ experience in private practice, working in a variety of physiotherapy settings. Her first private practice was developed and operated from Fleetwood Rugby Club, providing treatment for players over 6 years from 1993. She accompanied the team to Twickenham, where they went on to win The Provincial Cup Final.

Pauline went on to relocate her clinic to Queensway Medical Centre in Poulton-le-Fylde, where she practiced for 8 years. Around the same time, she ran a clinic providing private treatment from Carleton Surgery. These two clinics were later amalgamated into the Carleton Treatment Centre, a move which brought her skill to a wider client base and enabled an even higher level of service.

Since then, Pauline's clinic has gone from strength to strength and in 2012, now simply called Carleton Physiotherapy, relocated to a larger, ground floor premise to offer an ever higher level of service.

Pauline’s clinical expertise is in the treatment of a wide range of musculo-skeletal injuries including acute and chronic spinal pain. Physiotherapy is also provided to:

Medico-legal companies - treating patients with whiplash and other related injuries

Corporate Physiotherapy - treating conditions such as Repetitive Strain Injury and work related upper limb disorders.

Taking a hands-on approach with every client, Pauline has a real interest in each case and is highly motivated to help you achieve your goals.

Using a combination of appropriate treatment techniques, home exercise and postural advice, Pauline works hard to resolve the problem and prevent re-occurrence. Her aim is to get to the root of the problem and not just treat the symptoms.
